While the above methods are excellent, if you are a keyboard person, you’ll be happy to know that there are a lot of shortcuts to trigger the minimize option for an app on command. To use this, take your cursor all the way to the top of the application and right-click anywhere. Another way to minimize the working window is to use the app’s window menu. This one might seem tricky at first but it’s simple if you get used to it. Currently, if you don’t like Aero Shake, you can disable it in the Group Policy Editor or Windows Registry. When you open an app, say Notes, for instance, Windows 10 shows an icon on the taskbar which lets you do a ton of stuff. At the same time, Shake to Minimize can get in the way of your jittery mouse movements. This is another method of minimizing your windows to the taskbar.
This is the most basic and common option people use to minimize their current window.
